Geek on a Scooter Fixin' Your Computer was formed in 2008.  After a bad experience my friend had at a local competitor.  Needless to say, but I will.  They told my friend Dave...  They would max out his system memory on the motherboard of his new laptop.  Set up & optimize his Vista Basic Operating System.  My friend David had me look at the laptop...  This is what I found. 

       I started milling around trying to find out if he had a virus.  Well the upgrade wasn't completed.  His machine only had 2gigs in it.  2gigs is what the Laptop came with in the box.  They deleted some icons off the desktop, but he still had about 15 programs running at boot up. 

       I changed his settings & cleaned up his startup.  The task bar at the bottom right hand corner now only has his internet security program running.  Upgraded his laptop memory to 3 gigs.  With the changes I made to his pc, it is now running very fast.  No more wait and bake a cake while your computer starts up. 

      Dave was so excited with the work I had done.  Dave told a couple of guys at his work and one thing led to another.  And the computer repair referrals are still pouring in.  Our company motto is to help every customer honestly and we will be rewarded.  Very Karma based, but right to the point.  I had been repairing computers in big box retailers for years & decided to go out on my own.  Were my integrity is valued by each customer.  Proudly repairing computers in Boise and the Treasure Valley for several years.

       As for the name of the company.  It is a funny story. I am 6ft 5in about 280 lbs.  Yes I drive a scooter.  Someone asked me "Are you getting guff from your friends for driving a scooter?"  I laughed and said "I am just a Geek on a Scooter."  And it stuck.  Since then the computer repair took off, and the two just came together.   Don’t be fooled by the name we take your computer needs seriously…
